He walked away shaking his head. 55 minutes into the match, Bretona's goal looked a bit too open when Lynwood Friend came free, but Ariel Howell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amulet's supporters rose to their feet, but Lynwood Friend was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Howell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Bretona's goalkeeper Ariel Howell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bretona's Stewart Berthelette got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Bretona getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Dale Weiss hit a great ball. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bretona's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alphonso Cyr was slow to take the kick. During this time Amulet's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Alphonso Cyr got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ariel Howell quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Amulet's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Heath Read scored to the left of an out of position Antony Rubio, making the score, 1-2.
