Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dalton Barrios took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dalton Barrios blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Al Roussel having to make a save. Honoré Li could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Al Roussel made a huge save. Rueben Lamy's late challenge caught a Willowdale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rueben Lamy helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 played minutes Toronto FFC got a freekick which was hit by Rueben Lamy. In the 29th match minute, Willowdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalton Barrios to maneuver through the defense. Toronto FFC were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Willowdale's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mack Barber took the corner. Toronto FFC's Mack Barber was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Richard Case in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 33rd match minute, Toronto FFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rueben Lamy to maneuver through the defense. Honoré Li might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Al Roussel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Honoré Li ran back to his position shaking his head. Russ Shepherd sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honoré Li fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Al Roussel having to interfere. Honoré Li struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Al Roussel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Willowdale. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for George Suggs to strike the kick off in the second half. Willowdale's Richard Case proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Willowdale from getting a goal against them. In the 52nd minute George Suggs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Case saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Napoleon Kimbrough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Richard Case tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honoré Li in the 70th minute of play forced Toronto FFC's goalkeeper Al Roussel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Napoleon Kimbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Toronto FFC's goal looked a bit too open when Honoré Li came free, but Al Roussel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honoré Li sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mack Barber fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toronto FFC's protests and gave Mack Barber a yellow card for diving instead. 90 minutes into the game, one of Toronto FFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Willowdale a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tom Stallings, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Toronto FFC's Al Roussel. 1-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Willowdale fully deserved thier win.
