Spectators: 6737 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1737, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stewart Berthelette made the kick off which started today's match. 2 minutes into the game, Earl Nunez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferrier AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bretona the free kick. Earl Nunez kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Stewart Berthelette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Charrette having to interfere. When Stewart Berthelette fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bretona's protests and gave Stewart Berthelette a yellow card for diving instead. Stewart Berthelette hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 6 minutes into the match, Ferrier AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Stewart Berthelette came free, but Paul Charrette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dale Weiss charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dale Weiss the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bretona's Dale Weiss got his second yellow card of the match in the 9th minute. The referee ordered Dale Weiss off the ground. After a rather tough play, Bretona's Dale Weiss got a free kick in the 10th minute. Paul Charrette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heath Read, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Devon Long who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Ariel Howell when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Heath Read managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bretona's supporters rose to their feet, but Heath Read was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paul Charrette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute, Yann Hancock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Larry Babcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Howell having to interfere. The supporters of Ferrier AFC booed when Bretona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoine Kauffman didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bretona getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Solomon Reid hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bretona's zone, Larry Babcock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Howell came out of the goal and Larry Babcock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Bretona booed when Ferrier AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chas McCoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Devon Long's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ariel Howell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Larry Babcock fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Howell having to interfere. Devon Long came free with the goalkeeper in the 47th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ariel Howell could save by the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larry Babcock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Larry Babcock received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Ariel Howell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bretona's zone, Devon Long stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Howell came out of the goal and Devon Long tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th match minute, Bretona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yann Hancock to maneuver through the defense. Larry Babcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ariel Howell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Babcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Devon Long received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ariel Howell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Bretona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimmy Jennings to maneuver through the defense. After 74 minutes, Alphonse Dupont mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ferrier AFC and the Bretona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferrier AFC's Alphonse Dupont got a free kick in the 75th minute. Heath Read might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Charrette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Heath Read ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Larry Babcock in the 92nd minute of play forced Bretona's goalkeeper Ariel Howell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bretona had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
