Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Didier Stoner started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elisha Demers in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bertrand Dumas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Lloydminster booed when Stockton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Nash didn't get a good kick on the ball. Grégoire Best sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bertrand Dumas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Nash in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elisha Demers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bertrand Dumas was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Elisha Demers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bertrand Dumas having to interfere. Didier Stoner was extremely unlucky when he, in the 28th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Grégoire Best got free with Mitchell Jarrell in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Didier Stoner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 minutes, Garrett Bauer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stockton and the Lloydminster players grew even worse after the yellow card. 43 minutes into the game, one of Stockton:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 45th minute, Lloydminster got a penalty, and Darnell Whitt placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
Didier Stoner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leon Cantrell during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuel Nash who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Bertrand Dumas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Didier Stoner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elisha Demers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Bertrand Dumas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Didier Stoner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitchell Jarrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 82nd minute, Stockton's Elisha Demers dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 87th minute, Laurence Doucet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Darnell Whitt hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Emanuel Nash struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Bertrand Dumas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Stockton. In the 96th match minute, Lloydminster was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurence Doucet to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Stockton players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Lloydminster.
