Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rich Dubois couldn't finish the play. Dave Lancaster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Cutler in the 37th minute of the match. Benito Cutler struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Dave Lancaster didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Humboldt FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benito Cutler to make the kick off. Brenton Sizemore who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Rickey Delarosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 64th match minute, Humboldt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Hart to maneuver through the defense. Bobcaygeon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Terrance Nielsen in the 67th minute. In the 69th match minute, Humboldt FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sammy Hart to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Bobcaygeon FC's Terrance Nielsen tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Taylor Goodwin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rickey Delarosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rickey Delarosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taylor Goodwin, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Dave Lancaster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benito Cutler in the 83rd minute of the match. Brenton Sizemore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Rickey Delarosa made a huge save. After 85 minutes, Cristopher Fuller mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Humboldt FC and the Bobcaygeon FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dave Lancaster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Cutler in the 91st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Daryl Burnett managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bobcaygeon FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daryl Burnett was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickey Delarosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
