Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Buddy Peachey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cloridorme's goalkeeper Buddy Peachey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mario Gunn hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Judson Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hootalinqua's supporters rose to their feet, but Judson Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Buddy Peachey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Buddy Peachey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Grignon's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Grignon in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Buddy Peachey saved Cloridorme from getting behind. Mario Gunn kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Roland Grignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Lesley Griffin's late challenge caught a Cloridorme's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lesley Griffin hit a great ball. 47 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hootalinqua's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Andrew Huppé was slow to take the kick. During this time Cloridorme's players had a chance to rest. Irvin Pina tried in the 48th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Toney Holden a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Roland Grignon made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Hootalinqua got a freekick which was hit by Lesley Griffin. Buddy Peachey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Judson Schmidt in the 58th minute. If Judson Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Abraham didn't quite understand what happened when in the 65 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damien Béland in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toney Holden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Hootalinqua getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Randall Lyles hit a great ball. Damien Béland took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Toney Holden. Toney Holden dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Charlie Croft fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toney Holden having to interfere. A collision led to Cloridorme getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Charlie Croft hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Roland Grignon notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Cloridorme's Buddy Peachey. Buddy Peachey was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Roland Grignon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Hootalinqua players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
