Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Scottie Hagan got the match started through his kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Noble Ashby managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elmira's supporters rose to their feet, but Noble Ashby was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Mosley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Elmira's Noah Howard got a free kick in the 8th minute. Adrian Mosley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Noble Ashby went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Noble Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noble Ashby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Mosley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Scottie Hagan in the 30th minute of play forced Elmira's goalkeeper Donnell Altman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Elmira's Alonso Mack in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bentley's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Scottie Hagan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donnell Altman. Elmira's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Scottie Hagan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alonso Mack to strike the kick off in the second half. Adrian Mosley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Mack in the 57th minute of play. Noble Ashby struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Adrian Mosley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elmira. In the 61stth minute of the game Scottie Hagan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elmira's Donnell Altman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Scottie Hagan struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Donnell Altman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bentley. A collision led to Bentley getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Monte Charpie hit a great ball. Noble Ashby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Elmira's Noble Ashby in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bentley's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Alonso Mack managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elmira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alonso Mack was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Noble Ashby might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Mosley. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Noble Ashby ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Noah Howard during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 91 minutes into the match, Bentley's goal looked a bit too open when Alonso Mack came free, but Adrian Mosley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kory Boncoeur hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. 99 minutes into the match, Elmira's Cristobal Kessler broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Elmira had won after a very even match.
