Titus Grant hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Shunacadie AFC's zone, Jackson Morin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Lemelin came out of the goal and Jackson Morin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alva Lambert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute of the match Régis Martinez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Godelieve Boggs skillfully saved the ball. Godelieve Boggs made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Grant in the 20th minute of play. When Jackson Morin, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 22 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bruce Lemelin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Vaudreuil FC's Santo Borden got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Norberto Myles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shunacadie AFC's Bruce Lemelin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Theodore Dalton struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Godelieve Boggs didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shunacadie AFC. Austin Craig hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match.

Alva Lambert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Lemelin having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Mark Greene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Vaudreuil FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Morse to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Shunacadie AFC's Régis Martinez tried to score from far away in the 69th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Theodore Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75thth minute of the game Mark Greene who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vaudreuil FC's Godelieve Boggs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mark Greene received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Godelieve Boggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Alva Lambert managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vaudreuil FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alva Lambert was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Lemelin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jackson Morin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bruce Lemelin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alva Lambert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godelieve Boggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mark Greene in the 98th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Shunacadie AFC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
