The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tachie FC. When the match had been going on for 9 minutes, Louisburg FC's Lonny Winston got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Darryl McCauley. Lucius Dick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazaire Gold, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Aurelio Shipp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Darryl McCauley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucius Dick showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nazaire Gold in the 23rd minute of the match. Colby Meza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darryl McCauley having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kendrick Riley in the 27th minute of play forced Louisburg FC's goalkeeper Lucius Dick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tachie FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Aurelio Shipp 31 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. When Nazaire Gold came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Tachie FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nazaire Gold couldn't finish the play. Clair Shapiro charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clair Shapiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nazaire Gold in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lucius Dick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martin Townsend took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lucius Dick. Louisburg FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Tachie FC's Nazaire Gold in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Louisburg FC's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a rather tough play, Tachie FC's Martin Townsend got a free kick in the 51st minute. Kendrick Riley who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Lucius Dick when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Lucius Dick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazaire Gold in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Kendrick Riley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tachie FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kendrick Riley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucius Dick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Louisburg FC's goalkeeper Lucius Dick had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kendrick Riley. Kendrick Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Louisburg FC's goalkeeper Lucius Dick, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, Louisburg FC's Lucius Dick got control of the ball when Kendrick Riley tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Aurelio Shipp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kendrick Riley might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucius Dick. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kendrick Riley ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes, Kendrick Riley made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. If Kendrick Riley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Tachie FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Louisburg FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
