Spectators: 6718 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mark Greene started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Aurelio Shipp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Louisburg FC's Aurelio Shipp, in the 6th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Louisburg FC. After a defensive mix-up in Louisburg FC's zone, Mark Greene stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lucius Dick came out of the goal and Mark Greene tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bruce Lemelin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Shipp, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After having played for 16 minutes, Theodore Dalton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shunacadie AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Theodore Dalton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 1-0 became the score in the 18th minute when Theodore Dalton elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Titus Grant hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Louisburg FC's Lonny Winston couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Shunacadie AFC. Bruce Lemelin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Colby Meza went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Colby Meza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Louisburg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Colby Meza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Lemelin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurelio Shipp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Shunacadie AFC's Mark Greene got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Jamey Bilodeau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Louisburg FC and the Shunacadie AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Jamey Bilodeau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Shunacadie AFC booed when Louisburg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jamey Bilodeau didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Régis Martinez in the 49th minute really tested Lucius Dick's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aurelio Shipp made a kick off. A collision led to Shunacadie AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Régis Martinez hit a great ball. Louisburg FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lonny Winston in the 56th minute. If Theodore Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Colby Meza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Bruce Lemelin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colby Meza took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruce Lemelin. Bruce Lemelin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When Mark Greene came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Shunacadie AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mark Greene couldn't finish the play. If Mark Greene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd match minute, Louisburg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Heath Lauzier to maneuver through the defense. Theodore Dalton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lucius Dick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Louisburg FC's Lucius Dick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Greene in the 98th minute of play. Louisburg FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
