When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Wendell McPherson sped through Tenycape's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Renato Malloy. After having played for 14 minutes, Stacey Schaefer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grainland FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stacey Schaefer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tenycape's Renato Malloy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wendell McPherson in the 16th minute of play. Honoré Cuillerier charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honoré Cuillerier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Arturo Kauffman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Robert during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The wind increased when Wendell McPherson made the kick off in the second half. Delmar Alonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Kauffman in the 53rd minute of play. Dave Blanco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stacey Schaefer struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Renato Malloy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grainland FC. In the 64th minute, Wendell McPherson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Grainland FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Arturo Kauffman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmar Alonzo was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 92 minutes into the game, Stacey Schaefer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Renato Malloy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Grainland FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
