Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Émile Wiggins made the kick off which started today's match. The long shot by Kennith Boyle in the 3rd minute really tested Kevin Boivin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ayersville FC's Frank Browne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Stjohn in the 5th minute of play. Frank Browne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Clemons in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Ayersville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Stjohn came free, but Frank Browne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Adam Kerr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Didyme AFC's Lynwood Chacon tried to score from far away in the 22nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 31 minutes into the game, Émile Wiggins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayersville FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Didyme AFC the free kick. A collision led to Ayersville FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Émile Wiggins hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Didyme AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Émile Foreman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Émile Wiggins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ayersville FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Émile Wiggins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kevin Boivin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Richard Stjohn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dino Clemons came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Didyme AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dino Clemons couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute, one of Didyme AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Didyme AFC. The goalkeeper, Kevin Boivin, was totally fooled by Ayersville FC's Raul Lefebvre, who 49 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard Stjohn was the one to do the kick off. Kevin Boivin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambroise Sicard, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 62nd minute Ambroise Sicard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kevin Boivin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Ambroise Sicard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kevin Boivin was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Richard Stjohn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Frank Browne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frank Browne was a little too slow when Charley Giguère got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 3-1. Émile Wiggins scored 4-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kevin Boivin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Didyme AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ambroise Sicard came free, but Kevin Boivin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Émile Foreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Didyme AFC's Jeffry Hammond got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambroise Sicard in the 99th minute of play forced Didyme AFC's goalkeeper Kevin Boivin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayersville FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
