The penalty shot was made by Abraham Hagen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Surprise FC's Issac Wiggins. 1-0. The Lasqueti fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Lasqueti's Burt Burkhart looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jamey Denny struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Issac Wiggins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lasqueti. Jamey Denny scored 4-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Issac Wiggins, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 76th minute, Surprise FC's Alberto Sizemore ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sheldon Stoner. Sheldon Stoner yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jamey Denny in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Issac Wiggins saved Surprise FC from getting behind. If Jamey Denny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 played minutes Surprise FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Kenny. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Lasqueti fans cheered their team off the field, for while Surprise FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
