Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jamaal McNeal got the match started through his kick off. Jose Blanco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gary Wiggins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Cann AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Norris Staton came free, but Johnie Griffith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Douro were awarded a corner. Elden Cooke went to the cornerflag to take it. Douro's Elden Cooke was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Johnie Griffith in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 11th minute, Wes Carrillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Douro's Elden Cooke tried to score from far away in the 12th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match, Jose Blanco got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gary Wiggins was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 15 minutes, Wes Carrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cann AFC and the Douro players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th match minute, Cann AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wes Carrillo to maneuver through the defense. Johnie Griffith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Major Hadley's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 28th minute, Douro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jose Blanco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cann AFC's Jose Blanco got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Douro's Gary Wiggins got control of the ball when Jose Blanco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jose Blanco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Jamaal McNeal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gary Wiggins came out and tried to block the shot, but Jamaal McNeal slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norris Staton to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brent Kearns during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, Douro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Kearns to maneuver through the defense. Cann AFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Demetrius Beauchesne in the 56th minute. Johnie Griffith stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norris Staton's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Cann AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Douro:s goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Solomon Dubose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cann AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Solomon Dubose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gary Wiggins breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 played minutes Douro got a freekick which was hit by Elden Cooke. Jose Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gary Wiggins having to interfere. A collision led to Cann AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Garret Burton hit a great ball. Major Hadley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norris Staton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johnie Griffith having to interfere. With a little luck, Cann AFC's Johnie Griffith got control of the ball when Major Hadley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Johnie Griffith successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Blanco in the 93rd minute of play forced Douro's goalkeeper Gary Wiggins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
