Vince Jarrell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute Eliseo DuLin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Duffet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Opasatika FC's Robert Duffet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Wang in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toney Thurman during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Toney Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 18 minutes, Tracy Lepage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Opasatika FC and the Gambo players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Opasatika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo DuLin came free, but Robert Duffet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Duffet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marty Wang, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 26 minutes into the game, Geoffroi Hansen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gambo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Opasatika FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gambo's Geoffroi Hansen got a free kick in the 26th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Opasatika FC's Lowell Bravo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vince Jarrell. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. Robert Duffet came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Gambo's Marty Wang. But to his dismay, Marty Wang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Eduardo Suarez was extremely unlucky when he, in the 36th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 47 minutes into the match, Opasatika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo DuLin came free, but Robert Duffet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

In the 51stth minute of the game Lowell Bravo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gambo's Vince Jarrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Opasatika FC's Eduardo Suarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vince Jarrell narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vince Jarrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lowell Bravo in the 66th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Eduardo Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Opasatika FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Suarez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vince Jarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Gambo defense, Lowell Bravo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Jarrell. The Gambo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Jarrell should have stopped the shot. If Eliseo DuLin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo DuLin might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robert Duffet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliseo DuLin ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 80th minute of the match, Eliseo DuLin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Robert Duffet was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marty Wang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Robert Duffet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Opasatika FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Lepage to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gambo defense, Lowell Bravo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Jarrell. The Gambo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Jarrell should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Opasatika FC had won after a very even match.
