Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jamaal McNeal got the match started through his kick off. In the 5thth minute of the game Mario Dudley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cann AFC's Johnie Griffith was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Walker Barker came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Cann AFC's Jamaal McNeal. But to his dismay, Jamaal McNeal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Mario Dudley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute, Mario Dudley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jamaal McNeal hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Maitland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurèle Owens to maneuver through the defense. Jamaal McNeal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Maitland's Granville Miranda got a free kick in the 33rd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Jamaal McNeal notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Maitland's Walker Barker. Walker Barker was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jamaal McNeal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Walker Barker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute of the match Paul Morris shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johnie Griffith showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Maitland's Johnie Griffith threw himself towards the right post 48 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Dudley, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mario Dudley was the one to do the kick off. Yann Robison hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Mario Dudley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Johnie Griffith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freeman Boyer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Cann AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Dudley came free, but Johnie Griffith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cann AFC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Wes Carrillo hit a great ball. Mario Dudley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Freeman Boyer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johnie Griffith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Dudley, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After 63 minutes of play, Maitland's Freeman Boyer made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johnie Griffith was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mario Dudley in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Johnie Griffith prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Maitland's zone, Jose Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walker Barker came out of the goal and Jose Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 72 played minutes Maitland got a freekick which was hit by Aurèle Owens. Jamaal McNeal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walker Barker having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maitland's zone, Jose Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walker Barker came out of the goal and Jose Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jamaal McNeal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Walker Barker made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurèle Owens in the 92nd minute of play forced Cann AFC's goalkeeper Johnie Griffith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freeman Boyer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Johnie Griffith read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Cann AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
