Spectators: 6743 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jamaal McNeal made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Raul Cagle in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Johnie Griffith saved Cann AFC from getting behind. Johnie Griffith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentine Skinner in the 8th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Raul Cagle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Princeville's supporters rose to their feet, but Raul Cagle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnie Griffith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cann AFC's Johnie Griffith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Cagle in the 17th minute of play. Weldon Bérubé kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Johnie Griffith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentine Skinner in the 21st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cann AFC's Wes Carrillo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Princeville's Lance Burns couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cann AFC. 26 minutes into the game, Raul Cagle cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johnie Griffith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th minute, Valentine Skinner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Cagle struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Johnie Griffith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Princeville. When Princeville's Valentine Skinner in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cann AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Johnie Griffith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Cagle in the 49th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raul Cagle made a kick off. In the 53rd play minute Valentine Skinner came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Johnie Griffith. 0-2. In the 64th minute, Princeville's Raul Cagle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. When Wes Carrillo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cann AFC's protests and gave Wes Carrillo a yellow card for diving instead. Wes Carrillo kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Lance Burns took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Johnie Griffith. Cann AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Valentine Skinner succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 83rd playminute. In the 87th match minute, Princeville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greg Higgins to maneuver through the defense. When Valentine Skinner came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Princeville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentine Skinner couldn't finish the play. Princeville's Raul Cagle got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Princeville could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cann AFC throughout the match.
