Spectators: 6722 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 0) Gerard Bousquet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eduardo Suarez took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rich Arias. Rich Arias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Elphinstone AFC's Rich Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lowell Bravo in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Opasatika FC's Tracy Lepage got a free kick in the 12th minute. Rich Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduardo Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Opasatika FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerard Bousquet came free, but Robert Duffet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Eduardo Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rich Arias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Duffet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerard Bousquet in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lowell Bravo in the 38th minute of play forced Elphinstone AFC's goalkeeper Rich Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Opasatika FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Garrett Steele hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Opasatika FC's goalkeeper Robert Duffet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joey Kiser. After the first half Opasatika FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Lowell Bravo made the kick off in the second half. Opasatika FC's Eduardo Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th match minute, Elphinstone AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Onesime Novak to maneuver through the defense. Rich Arias made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Eduardo Suarez sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Onesime Novak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lowell Bravo struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Rich Arias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Opasatika FC. Rich Arias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lowell Bravo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robert Duffet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Kiser in the 73rd minute of the match. When Joey Kiser came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Elphinstone AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joey Kiser couldn't finish the play. In the 79th minute of the match Cortez Pritchard sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robert Duffet skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, Elphinstone AFC's Joey Kiser sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robert Duffet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eduardo Suarez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. Opasatika FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Robert Duffet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Bienvenue in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerard Bousquet in the 97th minute of play forced Opasatika FC's goalkeeper Robert Duffet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Opasatika FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
