In the 42nd minute, Valentine Skinner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gambo's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Cagle came free, but Vince Jarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Princeville's Kyle Pringle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Princeville from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mickey Bass during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gambo booed when Princeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Bass didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Princeville's zone, Marty Wang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kyle Pringle came out of the goal and Marty Wang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th match minute, Princeville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentine Skinner to maneuver through the defense. Valentine Skinner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Vince Jarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Cagle got in the 69th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vince Jarrell handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Raul Cagle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vince Jarrell having to interfere. Princeville's Raul Cagle got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gambo's Vince Jarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Cagle in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Cagle in the 91st minute of play forced Gambo's goalkeeper Vince Jarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Princeville's Valentine Skinner got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5-0 became the score in the 95th minute when Raul Cagle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Princeville's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
