Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marty Wang kicked off to start the match. Gambo's Vince Jarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Nash in the 2nd minute of play. Vince Jarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Nash, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 14th minute, Francisco Nash got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norman Hall scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vince Jarrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmund Donahue's late challenge caught a Gambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clyde Kirkland was a little too slow when Marty Wang got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. Eliseo DuLin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clyde Kirkland having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Gambo got a freekick which was hit by Federico Pomerleau. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Norman Hall made the kick off in the second half. If Francisco Nash had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Clyde Kirkland showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo DuLin, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Marty Wang cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Clyde Kirkland was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute, Francisco Nash got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Norman Hall's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Jarrell was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, one of Gambo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Marty Wang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambo's supporters rose to their feet, but Marty Wang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clyde Kirkland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Nash received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Vince Jarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Norman Hall in the 90th minute of play forced Gambo's goalkeeper Vince Jarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lillestrom FC's zone, Marty Wang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clyde Kirkland came out of the goal and Marty Wang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rocco Creech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gambo's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
