Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jamaal McNeal started the match with the kick off. Geoffroi Hansen's late challenge caught a Cann AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Geoffroi Hansen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Geoffroi Hansen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the game, Eliseo DuLin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Johnie Griffith was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The long shot by Teddy Fink in the 12th minute really tested Vince Jarrell's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Rocco Creech kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. If Jose Blanco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Gambo getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Rocco Creech hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gambo's zone, Jose Blanco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vince Jarrell came out of the goal and Jose Blanco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vince Jarrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jamaal McNeal's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Gambo booed when Cann AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrius Beauchesne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gambo's Asa Chaney couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cann AFC. 27 minutes into the game, Gambo's Marty Wang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Johnie Griffith made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 31st minute, Marty Wang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gambo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 35 minutes into the match, Cann AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marty Wang came free, but Johnie Griffith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 37 minutes, Rocco Creech managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gambo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rocco Creech was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vince Jarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Blanco in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marty Wang made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Marty Wang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johnie Griffith was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. 53 minutes into the game, Marty Wang lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Johnie Griffith. Eliseo DuLin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johnie Griffith having to make a save. In the 57th minute, Marty Wang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Gambo booed when Cann AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wes Carrillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Cann AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Garret Burton hit a great ball. Johnie Griffith came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Gambo's Eliseo DuLin. But to his dismay, Eliseo DuLin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 69 minutes into the game, Vincent Rivard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gambo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cann AFC the free kick. Vincent Rivard kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gambo! The referee gave Cann AFC a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Demetrius Beauchesne, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gambo's Vince Jarrell. 1-5. Solomon Dubose kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Eliseo DuLin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eliseo DuLin took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnie Griffith. Johnie Griffith dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. Eliseo DuLin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marty Wang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Johnie Griffith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Garret Burton's late challenge caught a Gambo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garret Burton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Garret Burton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over Gambo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cann AFC throughout the match.
