Spectators: 6758 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 0) Marty Wang started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Vince Jarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lowell Bravo in the 4th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Gambo's zone, Lowell Bravo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vince Jarrell came out of the goal and Lowell Bravo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Opasatika FC's Eduardo Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13th minute Eliseo DuLin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Duffet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes Opasatika FC got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Lentz. Lowell Bravo might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Jarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lowell Bravo ran back to his position shaking his head. Gambo's Eliseo DuLin got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marty Wang in the 33rd minute of play forced Opasatika FC's goalkeeper Robert Duffet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marty Wang charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marty Wang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Opasatika FC booed when Gambo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marty Wang didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Lowell Bravo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vince Jarrell was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Lowell Bravo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vince Jarrell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lowell Bravo ran back to his position shaking his head. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lowell Bravo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eliseo DuLin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Opasatika FC's Robert Duffet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marty Wang in the 54th minute of play. Lowell Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 60 minutes into the game, Eduardo Suarez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Vince Jarrell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eliseo DuLin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Lowell Bravo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Opasatika FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lowell Bravo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vince Jarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lowell Bravo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Harrison Bain fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gambo's protests and gave Harrison Bain a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Gambo's Vince Jarrell got control of the ball when Eduardo Suarez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vincent Rivard kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Gambo defense, Eduardo Suarez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vince Jarrell. The Gambo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vince Jarrell should have stopped the shot.
