Ridgeville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Régis Dennison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute of the game, Colby Driver landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 12 minutes, Cleveland Daniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ridgeville and the Valleyfield FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cleveland Daniel kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes, Valleyfield FC's Bernie Sands shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Brain Maloney came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valleyfield FC reached it. Régis Dennison came free with the goalkeeper in the 17th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Deon Gipson could save by the left post. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Ira Altman put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Deon Gipson. In the 24th minute, Ira Altman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Régis Dennison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 36th play minutes Régis Dennison shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Deon Gipson and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 40th minute, Régis Dennison made a precise shot to the right of Deon Gipson. Valleyfield FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ira Altman in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deon Gipson saved Valleyfield FC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ira Altman in the 48th minute of play forced Valleyfield FC's goalkeeper Deon Gipson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 53rd minute, Régis Dennison fired away a free kick at goal. It was hit a tad too hard, and went over the crossbar. Valleyfield FC's Deon Gipson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Régis Dennison in the 56th minute of play. After having played for 58 minutes, Régis Dennison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The supporters of Ridgeville booed when Valleyfield FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Aviles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deon Gipson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Régis Dennison in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the game, Ridgeville's Régis Dennison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Deon Gipson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. If Ira Altman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deon Gipson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ira Altman in the 77th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Régis Dennison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Ira Altman notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Valleyfield FC's Deon Gipson. Deon Gipson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Deon Gipson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ira Altman, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. When Rodney Burris came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Ridgeville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodney Burris couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 95 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Ira Altman sped through Valleyfield FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Deon Gipson.
