Spectators: 6729 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 0) Elma's Ben Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Fernando Swartz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chilliwack AFC and the Elma players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Elma booed when Chilliwack AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Swartz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Evan Labossière came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Elma fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evan Labossière couldn't finish the play. In the 6th match minute, Chilliwack AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustus Lay to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the game, Josue Roy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chilliwack AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elma the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 8th minute of the game. One of Chilliwack AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Elma:s goal. Darrick Pugh had in the 10thth minute some difficulties stopping Jules Crowder's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 10th minute, Jules Crowder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darrick Pugh was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th play minute Prosper Thorpe came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Marc Bellamy. 1-1. The audience was convinced that Dana Martin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc Bellamy was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Evan Labossière sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Evan Labossière's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Darrick Pugh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Marc Bellamy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prosper Thorpe in the 25th minute. When Shane McGinnis fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chilliwack AFC's protests and gave Shane McGinnis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Chilliwack AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Shane McGinnis to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes of play, Chilliwack AFC's Prosper Thorpe made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marc Bellamy was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, Elma's goalkeeper Marc Bellamy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prosper Thorpe. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 53 minutes Elma's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rudy Petersen who took care of the corner kick. Chilliwack AFC's Rudy Petersen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Marc Bellamy in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 62 minutes, Dana Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chilliwack AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dana Martin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 played minutes Elma got a freekick which was hit by Jackie Crow. Elma's Marc Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Thorpe in the 65th minute of play. Josue Roy kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 69th minute, when Elma's Jules Crowder after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Darrick Pugh in Chilliwack AFC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. Erwin Smalls kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Elma's Marc Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dana Martin in the 79th minute of play. Prosper Thorpe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Marc Bellamy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Prosper Thorpe in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Bellamy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dana Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Marc Bellamy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dana Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elma's Marc Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prosper Thorpe in the 91st minute of play. Evan Labossière recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chilliwack AFC's Darrick Pugh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brent Desjardins in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chilliwack AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Elma had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
