Ben Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Medina having to interfere. Marc Bellamy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Bondy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Bondy in the 16th minute of play forced Elma's goalkeeper Marc Bellamy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Elma booed when Bath was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evrard Farr didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elma's Marc Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Crane in the 61st minute of play. Rolando Bondy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marc Bellamy read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Marc Bellamy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentin Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Sylvain Racicot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marc Bellamy. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marc Bellamy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Rolando Bondy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Valentin Crane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marc Bellamy was relentless in the 95th minute of the game.
