Valleyfield FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deschambault the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Valleyfield FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Deschambault:s goal. After 12 played minutes Valleyfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernie Sands. Deschambault's Ali Lee played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Petrie in the 17th minute of play. Deon Gipson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Bridges, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Deon Gipson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norbert Bridges went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Norbert Bridges scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Deon Gipson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gaston Petrie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Deschambault getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Loic Chauvin hit a great ball. Reynaldo Webb who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Ali Lee when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 35th match minute, Deschambault was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Sheldon to maneuver through the defense. If Reynaldo Webb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Valleyfield FC's Gaston Petrie ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ali Lee. Ali Lee yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 44 minutes into the match, Deschambault's goalkeeper Ali Lee had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reynaldo Webb. After the first half Deschambault were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Norbert Bridges made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Gaston Petrie made it 2-2 with a short kick to the right side. Deschambault's Ali Lee tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 56 minutes into the match, Valleyfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Norbert Bridges came free, but Deon Gipson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deon Gipson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norbert Bridges, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. The audience was convinced that Gaston Petrie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Lee was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After 64 played minutes Deschambault got a freekick which was hit by Jerold Lejeune. After 69 minutes of play, Valleyfield FC's Gaston Petrie made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ali Lee was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 76th minute of the match Loic Chauvin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Deon Gipson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ramon Aviles hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 80th match minute, Valleyfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Colby Driver to maneuver through the defense. Ramon Aviles was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 83rd match minute, Valleyfield FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Aviles to maneuver through the defense. Deon Gipson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Bridges in the 84th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
