Elma's Marc Bellamy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Elma from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes in the game, Régis Dennison fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marc Bellamy having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Ira Altman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marc Bellamy, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ira Altman in the 46th minute of play forced Elma's goalkeeper Marc Bellamy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ben Murillo made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ben Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marc Bellamy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ira Altman in the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ira Altman in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marc Bellamy saved Elma from getting behind. Marc Bellamy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ira Altman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute Ben Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain Maloney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ben Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Brain Maloney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ira Altman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
