Spectators: 6720 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1720, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dana Martin kicked off to start the match. Morris Dubois didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prosper Thorpe went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Chilliwack AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Read came free, but Darrick Pugh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dana Martin in the 25th minute of play forced Tangent AFC's goalkeeper Morris Dubois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrick Pugh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Read in the 30th minute of the match. Dana Martin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chilliwack AFC's Darrick Pugh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gino Bolden in the 33rd minute of play. Darrick Pugh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ron Read's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. 44 minutes into the match, Tangent AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dana Martin came free, but Morris Dubois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute Gino Bolden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrick Pugh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Through an outstanding action, after 52 minutes, Darrick Pugh successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 59th of the match, Ron Read tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Darrick Pugh got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 65th match minute, Chilliwack AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rudy Petersen to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute of the match Rémy Perez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darrick Pugh skillfully saved the ball. If Prosper Thorpe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dana Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Morris Dubois tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Gino Bolden left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tangent AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. When Raul Maheu fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tangent AFC's protests and gave Raul Maheu a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Maheu hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the referee ended the match the Chilliwack AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
