Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gaston Petrie got the match started through his kick off. Saul Lund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 16 played minutes Valleyfield FC got a freekick which was hit by Colby Driver. Enoch Christiansen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Deon Gipson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deon Gipson came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Povungnetuk's Saul Lund. But to his dismay, Saul Lund quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Enoch Christiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deon Gipson having to interfere. Valleyfield FC's Pierre Cyr shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 38th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcellin Warren but with some difficulty. Enoch Christiansen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enoch Christiansen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deon Gipson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Valleyfield FC's Ramon Aviles got a free kick in the 44th minute. Deon Gipson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Lund, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Deon Gipson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enoch Christiansen in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Valleyfield FC's goal looked a bit too open when Enoch Christiansen came free, but Deon Gipson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Enoch Christiansen made the kick off in the second half. Reynaldo Webb struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Marcellin Warren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valleyfield FC. When Valleyfield FC's Gaston Petrie in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Povungnetuk's goalie prevented a goal. If Saul Lund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willie Huot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deon Gipson having to interfere. Colby Driver hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Petrie in the 73rd minute of play forced Povungnetuk's goalkeeper Marcellin Warren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Povungnetuk's goalkeeper Marcellin Warren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Deon Gipson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enoch Christiansen in the 83rd minute of the match. When Povungnetuk's Enoch Christiansen in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Valleyfield FC's goalie prevented a goal. Valleyfield FC's Deon Gipson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Valleyfield FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gaston Petrie in the 88th minute of play forced Povungnetuk's goalkeeper Marcellin Warren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the game, Willie Huot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Povungnetuk's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valleyfield FC the free kick. Willie Huot kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Reynaldo Webb's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcellin Warren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Webb in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcellin Warren saved Povungnetuk from getting behind.
