Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ron Grimes took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ron Grimes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Bellamy having to interfere. The supporters of Debert booed when Elma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Steward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kyle Wood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Bellamy having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, Elma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dave Steward to maneuver through the defense. Brent Desjardins kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Elma's Marc Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kyle Wood in the 14th minute of play. If Evan Labossière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dusty Jacobson hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Kelly Schaefer hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Rico Bryan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jackie Crow. Debert's Kyle Wood got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Elma fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! Kyle Wood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Bellamy having to interfere. Ron Grimes struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Marc Bellamy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Debert. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Haywood Cross sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rico Bryan skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th minute, Evan Labossière got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Ron Grimes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Elma's Marc Bellamy. Marc Bellamy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elma's Marc Bellamy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Elma from getting a goal against them. Kyle Wood took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marc Bellamy. Marc Bellamy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a little luck, Elma's Marc Bellamy got control of the ball when Kyle Wood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dave Steward charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dave Steward the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Debert booed when Elma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Steward didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rico Bryan came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Elma's Ben Murillo. But to his dismay, Ben Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Evan Labossière had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jules Crowder took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rico Bryan. Debert's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rico Bryan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ben Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
