Spectators: 6733 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1733, VIP seats: 0) Rexdale AFC's Hobert Blanco started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Russell Holmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Sylvain Hampton made a huge save. Russell Holmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Zehner AFC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Damien Lepage hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damien Lepage during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 17 minutes into the match, Rexdale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Keith McCullough came free, but Les Briggs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Waylon Swanson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Briggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith McCullough in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Rexdale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Keith McCullough came free, but Les Briggs reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Waylon Swanson during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes Zehner AFC got a freekick which was hit by Waylon Swanson. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Leopoldo Buckner managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rexdale AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Buckner was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sylvain Hampton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Rexdale AFC's Hobert Blanco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sylvain Hampton. That made the score 1-0 after 27 minutes of play. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zehner AFC's goalkeeper Sylvain Hampton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hobert Blanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Russell Holmes scored 2-0 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylvain Hampton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hobert Blanco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Sylvain Hampton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Russell Holmes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a rather tough play, Zehner AFC's Damien Lepage got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Keith McCullough to make the kick off. When Keith McCullough came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Zehner AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keith McCullough couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Rexdale AFC's Les Briggs got control of the ball when Waylon Swanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Russell Holmes took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sylvain Hampton. Sylvain Hampton dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Ryan McHugh kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Hobert Blanco scored 4-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sylvain Hampton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Rexdale AFC's Les Briggs got control of the ball when Waylon Swanson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zehner AFC's Waylon Swanson got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sylvain Hampton came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Rexdale AFC's Russell Holmes. But to his dismay, Russell Holmes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Sylvain Hampton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hobert Blanco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Emery charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oliver Emery the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Zehner AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Oliver Emery hit a great ball. Russell Holmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sylvain Hampton having to interfere. Keith McCullough received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Les Briggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zehner AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
