Lenny Meunier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Keith McCullough made a precise shot to the right of Lyndon Stark. Montreal FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Lyndon Stark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waylon Swanson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Waylon Swanson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lyndon Stark was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Montreal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Keith McCullough came free, but Lyndon Stark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Humbert Herrington charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Humbert Herrington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Humbert Herrington hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Eliseo Dupéré's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sylvain Hampton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Eliseo Dupéré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sylvain Hampton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Zehner AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Damien Lepage hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Keith McCullough in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lyndon Stark prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Oliver Emery blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lyndon Stark having to make a save. After 47 played minutes Zehner AFC got a freekick which was hit by Shayne Capps. Emmanuel Binet charged in rather forcefully in the 49th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emmanuel Binet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Eliseo Dupéré made the kick off in the second half. Rayford Bolduc was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 61st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lyndon Stark made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keith McCullough in the 66th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Keith McCullough ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lyndon Stark was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Waylon Swanson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Lyndon Stark skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Montreal FC's Lyndon Stark proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Montreal FC from getting a goal against them. Keith McCullough sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Waylon Swanson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyndon Stark having to interfere. Lyndon Stark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keith McCullough, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Eliseo Dupéré came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Montreal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Dupéré couldn't finish the play. Sylvain Hampton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lenny Meunier, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zehner AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
