Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Jefferson Dempsey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Les Briggs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rexdale AFC's Les Briggs played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Echols in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Rexdale AFC's goalkeeper Les Briggs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Dempsey. Lindbergh FC's Nicolas Echols got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cedric Marsh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hobert Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cordell Desrosiers during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lindbergh FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cordell Desrosiers hit a great ball. Les Briggs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Echols in the 32nd minute of the match. Jefferson Dempsey might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Les Briggs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jefferson Dempsey ran back to his position shaking his head. Quinn Dolan kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hobert Blanco to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Nicolas Echols managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lindbergh FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Echols was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Les Briggs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, Jefferson Dempsey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Lindbergh FC's Cedric Marsh got control of the ball when Russell Holmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Willard Blanchard charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willard Blanchard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Lindbergh FC booed when Rexdale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willard Blanchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Les Briggs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jefferson Dempsey went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicolas Echols in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Les Briggs prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jefferson Dempsey recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elton Redding during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hobert Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Marsh having to interfere. When Cordell Desrosiers was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 81 minutes had been played. The supporters of Rexdale AFC booed when Lindbergh FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cordell Desrosiers didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th match minute, Lindbergh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Nolan to maneuver through the defense. Rexdale AFC's Willard Blanchard couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 86th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Lindbergh FC. After a rather tough play, Lindbergh FC's Quinn Dolan got a free kick in the 88th minute. Russell Holmes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Cedric Marsh when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Russell Holmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 94 played minutes Lindbergh FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrick Laberge. The corner ended in Willard Blanchard almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lindbergh FC's Cedric Marsh did a great save.
