Craig Latham made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guy McGrath in the 8th minute of play. Ivory McKenna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Jolly made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Gerard Velasquez. After 22 played minutes Bathurst FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Yarbrough. The audience was convinced that Ivory McKenna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Irwin was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Loic Burns took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Martin Irwin. Bathurst FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Enrique Jolly made in the 33rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Guy McGrath however managed to control. In the 35th minute of the match, Guy McGrath tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Craig Latham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aberdeen F.C.'s Hans Gibbs got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Martin Irwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivory McKenna in the 42nd minute of the match.

Wesley Lay kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Hans Gibbs didn't quite understand what happened when in the 55 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Craig Latham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olin Frazier, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aberdeen F.C.'s Craig Latham played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Randell Conner in the 61st minute of play. Bradley Gareau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Irwin having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Ivory McKenna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Olin Frazier's late challenge caught a Aberdeen F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olin Frazier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Olin Frazier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Ivory McKenna kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Irwin. That made the score 0-1 in the 71 minute of play. Aberdeen F.C.'s Ivory McKenna managed to work through Bathurst FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ivory McKenna dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Aberdeen F.C.'s Marco Sykes got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Aberdeen F.C. left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bathurst FC.
