In the 37th match minute, Lindbergh FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cordell Desrosiers to maneuver through the defense. Winfred Choi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cedric Marsh. Lindbergh FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Montreal FC's goalkeeper Lyndon Stark had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jefferson Dempsey. In the 41st minute, Alejandro McGinnis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lyndon Stark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Echols, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicolas Echols made a kick off. Nicolas Echols sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Nicolas Echols in the 76th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 78th minute, Jefferson Dempsey ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lyndon Stark was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 81 minutes, Cordell Desrosiers mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lindbergh FC and the Montreal FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nicolas Echols fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lyndon Stark having to interfere. Lindbergh FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
