Craig Latham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roosevelt Poulin's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Ivory McKenna received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nestor Espinoza came out and tried to block the shot, but Ivory McKenna slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivory McKenna got free with Nestor Espinoza in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Craig Latham showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Grady, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Aberdeen F.C.'s Bradley Gareau quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mikel Conley, made in the 21st minute of the game. Roosevelt Poulin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Craig Latham tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ivory McKenna came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Aberdeen F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivory McKenna couldn't finish the play. Hans Gibbs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Merrill Hills's late challenge caught a Aberdeen F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merrill Hills helped the player get up and apologised. Merrill Hills kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes Beaverlodge AFC got a freekick which was hit by Wallace Aguirre. Ivory McKenna struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Nestor Espinoza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aberdeen F.C.. Craig Latham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merrill Hills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 49 played minutes, Beaverlodge AFC's Floyd Edmonds shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Craig Latham came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beaverlodge AFC reached it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Dorian Grady recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Roosevelt Poulin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aberdeen F.C.'s attentive Jere Harrell managed to snatch the ball when Floyd Edmonds made a throw-in in the 61st minute of the game. In the 65th minute of the game Mikel Conley made a throw-in which Winford Gallegos played forward. After a rather tough play, Beaverlodge AFC's Isidro Corona got a free kick in the 66th minute. Craig Latham made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roosevelt Poulin in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Beaverlodge AFC defense, Ivory McKenna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nestor Espinoza. The Beaverlodge AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Espinoza should have stopped the shot. In the 75th minute of the match, Dorian Grady tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Craig Latham saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Aberdeen F.C. getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Marco Sykes hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, Beaverlodge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ivory McKenna came free, but Nestor Espinoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivory McKenna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Nestor Espinoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nestor Espinoza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Sykes in the 86th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merrill Hills in the 95th minute of play forced Aberdeen F.C.'s goalkeeper Craig Latham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Beaverlodge AFC's Merrill Hills dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. There was no doubt that Aberdeen F.C. were the better team. Aberdeen F.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
