Spectators: 6741 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1741, VIP seats: 0) Malonton's Aurelio Torrez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Ron Sands fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malonton's protests and gave Ron Sands a yellow card for diving instead. Frédéric Gorman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vito Hamilton got free with Perry Duplessis in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frédéric Gorman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perry Duplessis having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédéric Gorman in the 21st minute of play forced Malonton's goalkeeper Perry Duplessis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Hamilton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Perry Duplessis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Perry Duplessis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frédéric Gorman in the 25th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Frédéric Gorman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kildonan's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédéric Gorman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry Duplessis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Malonton's Keneth Charles got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Malonton was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keneth Charles to maneuver through the defense. If Vito Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frédéric Gorman in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perry Duplessis saved Malonton from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Malonton's Moses Fields sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carrol Benedict narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute of the match Alden Lapresse sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carrol Benedict skillfully saved the ball. In the 40th minute, Keneth Charles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Aurelio Torrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carrol Benedict saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frédéric Gorman to strike the kick off in the second half. Steven Therrien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Perry Duplessis having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frédéric Gorman in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Perry Duplessis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Malonton's Ron Sands got a free kick in the 54th minute. Vito Hamilton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kildonan's Carrol Benedict played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Torrez in the 64th minute of play. Ron Sands got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Malonton getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Ron Sands hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Malonton's goal looked a bit too open when Frédéric Gorman came free, but Perry Duplessis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Frédéric Gorman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Perry Duplessis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vito Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Perry Duplessis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Malonton got a freekick which was hit by Keneth Charles. A collision led to Malonton getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Aurelio Torrez hit a great ball. If Vito Hamilton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kildonan were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Malonton's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jonah Gregg took the corner. The corner ended in Jonah Gregg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Malonton's Perry Duplessis did a great save. In the 86th match minute, Kildonan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blair Waldron to maneuver through the defense. Kildonan's Carrol Benedict proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Kildonan from getting a goal against them. Vito Hamilton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Perry Duplessis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Hamilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Kildonan were the better team. Kildonan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
