Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Saul Mills kicked off to start the match. Christian Carpenter's late challenge caught a Taber AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Carpenter helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Portapique AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Carpenter to maneuver through the defense. When Christian Carpenter came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Portapique AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Carpenter couldn't finish the play. Reynaud Sams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stacy Montoya having to make a save. 1-0 became the score in the 14th minute when Saul Mills elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Francesco Inman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elliot Wilkerson having to interfere. Christian Carpenter scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elliot Wilkerson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mohammad Duplessis charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mohammad Duplessis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mohammad Duplessis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. A collision led to Portapique AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Grégoire Simmons hit a great ball. If Norris Spears had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 48th minute, Portapique AFC's Aubrey Rosado seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aubrey Rosado the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Portapique AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aubrey Rosado had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 47 minutes into the game, one of Portapique AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Taber AFC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mason Lyle, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Portapique AFC's Stacy Montoya. 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Francesco Inman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Francesco Inman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Taber AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Francesco Inman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Gratien Morris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francesco Inman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Elliot Wilkerson made a huge save. Francesco Inman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Elliot Wilkerson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Stacy Montoya showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Mills, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Mills in the 76th minute of play forced Portapique AFC's goalkeeper Stacy Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Francesco Inman came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Portapique AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Inman couldn't finish the play. In the 83rd minute Saul Mills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Taber AFC booed when Portapique AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mohammad Duplessis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stacy Montoya came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Taber AFC's Saul Mills. But to his dismay, Saul Mills quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. If Saul Mills had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 101st minute Saul Mills shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stacy Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taber AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
