Spectators: 6735 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1735, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christian Carpenter took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Portapique AFC's Christian Carpenter in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sandspit AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 9th minute of the match, Christian Carpenter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Adan Picard saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Stacy Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bud Smart in the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Bud Smart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Stacy Montoya was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francesco Inman got free with Adan Picard in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Christian Carpenter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th match minute, Sandspit AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesaire Townsend to maneuver through the defense. When Francesco Inman came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Portapique AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Inman couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Portapique AFC booed when Sandspit AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnathon Wallace didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danial Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stacy Montoya having to interfere. In the 35th minute Christian Carpenter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adan Picard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Bud Smart managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandspit AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bud Smart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Danial Schumacher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stacy Montoya was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danial Schumacher to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandspit AFC's Adan Picard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Inman in the 58th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Danial Schumacher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portapique AFC's Stacy Montoya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Portapique AFC's Stacy Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Schumacher in the 84th minute of play. Bud Smart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute of the match, Danial Schumacher tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Stacy Montoya saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Bud Smart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Portapique AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Danial Schumacher came free, but Stacy Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Paschal Cabrera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sandspit AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paschal Cabrera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stacy Montoya breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
