Spectators: 6727 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fredrick Daugherty took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 5 played minutes Montreal Impact got a freekick which was hit by Elvin Loomis. The supporters of Montreal Impact booed when Doussal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Doussal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eddie Schulz came free, but Corey McCollum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Demetrius Schwartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddie Schulz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Corey McCollum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Winford Maurer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Doussal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jon Nix during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, one of Montreal Impact:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montreal Impact. Doussal FC's Corey McCollum played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Demetrius Schwartz in the 33rd minute of play. If Demetrius Schwartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 41st play minutes Demetrius Schwartz shot 2-1, a short shot which went by Corey McCollum and just under the crossbar into goal. Carmine Joly kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Hiram Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrick Daugherty in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eddie Schulz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hiram Blake took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fredrick Daugherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elvin Loomis's late challenge caught a Doussal FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvin Loomis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute of the match Moises Murry sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hiram Blake skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddie Schulz in the 64th minute of play forced Doussal FC's goalkeeper Corey McCollum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Montreal Impact booed when Doussal FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sherwood Guertin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corey McCollum didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Demetrius Schwartz went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Hiram Blake showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrick Daugherty in the 77th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Eddie Schulz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fredrick Daugherty's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hiram Blake read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Hiram Blake came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Doussal FC's Winford Maurer. But to his dismay, Winford Maurer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Doussal FC's zone, Demetrius Schwartz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Corey McCollum came out of the goal and Demetrius Schwartz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Doussal FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Montreal Impact for a fine match.
