In the 5thth minute of the game Danial Schumacher who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hardisty AFC's Boris Bergeron was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregg Isaac did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Adan Picard 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th match minute, Sandspit AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathon Wallace to maneuver through the defense. Jospeh Brochu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Danial Schumacher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boris Bergeron was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Bud Smart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boris Bergeron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bud Smart, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Danial Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Bergeron having to interfere. Bud Smart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregg Isaac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adan Picard having to make a save. In the 29th match minute, Sandspit AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paschal Cabrera to maneuver through the defense. After 30 played minutes Hardisty AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gregg Isaac. In the 30th minute, Hardisty AFC's Gregg Isaac fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Adan Picard was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. After 33 played minutes Sandspit AFC got a freekick which was hit by Johnathon Wallace. Eugène Silva got in the 34th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Adan Picard. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-0. Danial Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Bergeron having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hardisty AFC's zone, Bud Smart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Bergeron came out of the goal and Bud Smart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Randal Leal kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Sandspit AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gregg Isaac came free, but Adan Picard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Bergeron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danial Schumacher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danial Schumacher to strike the kick off in the second half. Danial Schumacher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Boris Bergeron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bud Smart struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Boris Bergeron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sandspit AFC. Danial Schumacher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danial Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boris Bergeron having to interfere. If Jospeh Brochu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregg Isaac in the 79th minute of play forced Sandspit AFC's goalkeeper Adan Picard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Jospeh Brochu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hardisty AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gregg Isaac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Sandspit AFC's Bud Smart sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boris Bergeron narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johnathon Wallace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bud Smart got free with Boris Bergeron in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hardisty AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sandspit AFC for a fine match.
