Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frédéric Gorman kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in Malonton's zone, Frédéric Gorman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Perry Duplessis came out of the goal and Frédéric Gorman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 10 minutes, Vito Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kildonan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Hamilton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th match minute, Kildonan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonah Gregg to maneuver through the defense. Aurelio Torrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Carrol Benedict tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Vito Hamilton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kildonan's supporters rose to their feet, but Vito Hamilton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Perry Duplessis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ron Sands kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Perry Duplessis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frédéric Gorman's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelio Torrez in the 35th minute of play forced Kildonan's goalkeeper Carrol Benedict to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kildonan's Carrol Benedict proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Kildonan from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Steven Therrien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 39th minute Aurelio Torrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carrol Benedict saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelio Torrez to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Torrez in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carrol Benedict prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th match minute, Kildonan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Brodeur to maneuver through the defense. Moses Fields blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carrol Benedict having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Frédéric Gorman managed to get in a good position for a shot. A nice corner shot did that Jonah Gregg got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Perry Duplessis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ron Sands hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Kildonan booed when Malonton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Heriberto McElroy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Perry Duplessis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vito Hamilton in the 80th minute. Moses Fields sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrol Benedict took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Torrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carrol Benedict didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Moses Fields went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
