Fredric Lacombe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathon Wheeler in the 9th minute of play. The supporters of Mulgrave booed when Millhaven AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hal Dickinson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute of the match Earle Napier shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sylvain Carlson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mulgrave's goalkeeper Fredric Lacombe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mervin Prescott fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fredric Lacombe having to interfere. After having played for 16 minutes, Dudley Dubé managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulgrave's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dudley Dubé was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sylvain Carlson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alain Connelly in the 20th minute. Alain Connelly sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Lacombe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathon Wheeler in the 27th minute of play. Fredric Lacombe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathon Wheeler, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jonathon Wheeler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mulgrave's Fredric Lacombe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathon Wheeler in the 42nd minute of play. Dudley Dubé charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudley Dubé the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dudley Dubé hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonathon Wheeler to strike the kick off in the second half. Mervin Prescott recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Wyatt Fontenot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barrett Obrien charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barrett Obrien the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Millhaven AFC's Hal Dickinson in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mulgrave's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Mulgrave getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Anderson Ernst hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathon Wheeler in the 73rd minute of play forced Mulgrave's goalkeeper Fredric Lacombe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Millhaven AFC's zone, Alain Connelly stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sylvain Carlson came out of the goal and Alain Connelly tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Millhaven AFC's goalkeeper Sylvain Carlson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 95 minutes, Douglas Couet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mulgrave's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Millhaven AFC the free kick. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
