Vernon Burris was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Hatton FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vito Sellers during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Piquitonay FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Vito Sellers hit a great ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Hurd to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Piquitonay FC's zone, Vernon Burris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nestor Despins came out of the goal and Vernon Burris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hatton FC's goalkeeper Kirby Champagne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vernon Burris in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Despins saved Piquitonay FC from getting behind. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Hatton FC's goalkeeper Kirby Champagne, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Hatton FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeff Marleau to maneuver through the defense. Piquitonay FC's Jeffry Yazzie got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Piquitonay FC's Tyrone Reagan got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Hatton FC's Vernon Burris in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jeffry Yazzie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kirby Champagne having to interfere. After recieving a nice pass, Piquitonay FC's Casey Grandbois tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Kirby Champagne took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeffry Yazzie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Hurd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Nestor Despins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kirby Champagne showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffry Yazzie in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the game, Louis Guevara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hatton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquitonay FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Hatton FC's Louis Guevara got a free kick in the 81st minute. In the last second Kirby Champagne throw himself and got hold of the ball when Jeffry Yazzie in the 85thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Nestor Despins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vernon Burris, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Hatton FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Piquitonay FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Piquitonay FC.
