After 3 minutes of play, Livelong's Quincy Sizemore made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicholas Sapp was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Richmond Hill United's Johnson Parizeau got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Quincy Sizemore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicholas Sapp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ross Capps went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Richmond Hill United's Johnson Parizeau got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ed Daigneault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donald Grandpré, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Ross Capps made a precise shot to the right of Nicholas Sapp. Richmond Hill United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. If Quincy Sizemore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ross Capps received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Nicholas Sapp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quincy Sizemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicholas Sapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ross Capps, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Livelong's Quincy Sizemore got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Livelong's Ross Capps pulled a muscle in his leg after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 43 minutes, Johnson Parizeau mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Richmond Hill United and the Livelong players grew even worse after the yellow card. Livelong made a substitution. Théophile Marcus replaced Ross Capps. The referee gave Livelong a penalty, 46 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Russ Mayo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Richmond Hill United's Nicholas Sapp. 0-4. After the first half Livelong were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute Donald Grandpré shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Daigneault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Théophile Marcus's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicholas Sapp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the match, Richmond Hill United's goalkeeper Nicholas Sapp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joseph Beaupré. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolph Meier during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 56 played minutes Richmond Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Rodolph Meier. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Théophile Marcus in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicholas Sapp saved Richmond Hill United from getting behind. Nicholas Sapp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Théophile Marcus, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Théophile Marcus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicholas Sapp having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Quentin Gold notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Richmond Hill United's Nicholas Sapp. Nicholas Sapp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Théophile Marcus in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicholas Sapp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gratien Weston hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Richmond Hill United's Nicholas Sapp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Théophile Marcus in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Livelong left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Richmond Hill United.
