The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 played minutes Richmond Hill United got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Honeycutt. Jeffry Yazzie had several of the Richmond Hill United's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 11 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Nicholas Sapp as he didn't even see the shot coming. Jeffry Yazzie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the game, Gerardo Honeycutt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Richmond Hill United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piquitonay FC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 20th minute of the game. One of Richmond Hill United:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Piquitonay FC:s goal. In the 24th minute, Vito Sellers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Piquitonay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donald Grandpré came free, but Nestor Despins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeffry Yazzie in the 34th minute of play forced Richmond Hill United's goalkeeper Nicholas Sapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Rodolph Meier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jeffry Yazzie to strike the kick off in the second half. Piquitonay FC's Nestor Despins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donald Grandpré in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Vito Sellers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicholas Sapp. Richmond Hill United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Sellers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Donald Grandpré fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Despins having to interfere. Nicholas Sapp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vito Sellers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicholas Sapp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vito Sellers in the 73rd minute of the match. Emil Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Nestor Despins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 79 minutes, Donald Grandpré managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Richmond Hill United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donald Grandpré was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jeffry Yazzie, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Nicholas Sapp was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Vito Sellers took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicholas Sapp. Nicholas Sapp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. If Emil Austin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Jacob Redding hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
