Spectators: 6731 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1731, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dennis Winston started the match with the kick off. McKague's Santo Butcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Winston in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Benedict McCabe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Benedict McCabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Santo Butcher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Santo Butcher successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gustavo Atwood struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Malcolm Griffith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for McKague. If Leon Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes McKague got a freekick which was hit by Ward Grove. In the 22nd match minute, Maymont was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerold Correa to maneuver through the defense. Benedict McCabe in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santo Butcher, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With his leg Santo Butcher managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Maymont's Benedict McCabe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 24th match minute, McKague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denver Marcil to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the match, McKague's goalkeeper Santo Butcher had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benedict McCabe. In the 30th minute, Dennis Winston fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Santo Butcher, passed just outside the right post. Benedict McCabe in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Santo Butcher, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. McKague's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Dennis Winston 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leon Davenport made a kick off. McKague's Santo Butcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedict McCabe in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Maymont getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jerold Correa hit a great ball. Gustavo Atwood might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Malcolm Griffith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustavo Atwood ran back to his position shaking his head. Gustavo Atwood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Malcolm Griffith made a huge save. Gustavo Atwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Malcolm Griffith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 76th play minutes Benedict McCabe shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Santo Butcher and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 81st minute Dennis Winston shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santo Butcher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leon Davenport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Butcher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Winston, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Gustavo Atwood struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Malcolm Griffith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for McKague. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 91st minute of the game. One of McKague:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Maymont:s goal. Maymont's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
