Spectators: 6749 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1749, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas Couet took the kick off in the first half of the match. Douglas Couet scored 1-0 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ed Daigneault, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Livelong's Ed Daigneault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Couet in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of Mulgrave booed when Livelong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joseph Beaupré didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 13 minutes on the clock, Ernesto Hedrick commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Mulgrave. Earle Napier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ed Daigneault. 2-0. Alain Connelly made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 20thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Ed Daigneault would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Connelly got free with Ed Daigneault in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 25 minutes into the match, Livelong's goal looked a bit too open when Dudley Dubé came free, but Ed Daigneault reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ed Daigneault made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglas Couet in the 29th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Livelong got a freekick which was hit by Quincy Sizemore. In the 31st minute Douglas Couet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ed Daigneault saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ed Daigneault took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Couet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the game, Quentin Gold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Fredric Lacombe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Joseph Beaupré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 45 minutes, Quincy Sizemore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Livelong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quincy Sizemore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mulgrave's Fredric Lacombe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quincy Sizemore in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Quincy Sizemore made the kick off in the second half. Ed Daigneault showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudley Dubé in the 51st minute of the match. Fredric Lacombe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Sizemore in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute of the match Livelong got a corner. Mulgrave's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Russ Mayo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Mulgrave's goalie and right to Rob Case. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Mulgrave's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 57 played minutes Mulgrave got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Galloway. Russ Mayo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fredric Lacombe. Mulgrave's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Livelong's Ed Daigneault played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alain Connelly in the 60th minute of play. Livelong's Joseph Beaupré managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Anderson Ernst in the 63 minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Quincy Sizemore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Quentin Gold's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Fredric Lacombe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arnoldo Galloway took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ed Daigneault. Livelong's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 75 played minutes Mulgrave got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Galloway. Mulgrave's Douglas Couet got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Livelong fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ed Daigneault should have stopped the shot. In the 91st minute of the match Arnoldo Galloway shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ed Daigneault showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Quincy Sizemore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fredric Lacombe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wyatt Fontenot charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wyatt Fontenot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mulgrave getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Wyatt Fontenot hit a great ball. Russ Mayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fredric Lacombe having to make a save. Livelong's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Mulgrave had won, even though Livelong had held more of the ball.
