In the 7th minute, Brancepeth AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Lonny Caron fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Laurent Lentz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mitchel Smith in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Debden FC's Lonny Caron dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 26th minute Mitchel Smith shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laurent Lentz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes, Lonny Caron made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Brancepeth AFC's Otha Braden tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Lonny Caron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stevie Hope kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Lambert Chavez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Otha Braden, passed just outside the right post. Brancepeth AFC's Otha Braden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lonny Caron in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lonny Caron in the 41st minute of play forced Brancepeth AFC's goalkeeper Otha Braden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boyd Glass's late challenge caught a Brancepeth AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyd Glass helped the player get up and apologised. Lou Westbrook was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tyrell Christopher to make the kick off. Stevie Hope kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Laurent Lentz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mitchel Smith in the 60th minute. Lambert Chavez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otha Braden having to interfere. Otha Braden showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lonny Caron in the 70th minute of the match. Tyrell Christopher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 75 minutes into the game, Lonny Caron cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Otha Braden was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lambert Chavez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Otha Braden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Lambert Chavez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Otha Braden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mitchel Smith's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Laurent Lentz firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brancepeth AFC's goalkeeper Otha Braden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Debden FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tyrell Christopher came free, but Laurent Lentz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Debden FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
