Leon Davenport started the match with the kick off. Louis Guevara hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Kirby Champagne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Atwood in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louis Guevara during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hatton FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Louis Guevara hit a great ball. Hatton FC's Kirby Champagne played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustavo Atwood in the 7th minute of play. Leon Davenport sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Louis Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Johnathan Bond fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hatton FC's protests and gave Johnathan Bond a yellow card for diving instead. Johnathan Bond kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Rodrick Voss, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Leon Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vernon Burris came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Hatton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vernon Burris couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Leon Davenport ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kirby Champagne was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Pedro Hurd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santo Butcher having to interfere. Santo Butcher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Hurd's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Gustavo Atwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Leon Davenport blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kirby Champagne having to make a save. If Leon Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of McKague booed when Hatton FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeff Marleau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hatton FC's Kirby Champagne proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Hatton FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to McKague getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Denver Marcil hit a great ball. Gustavo Atwood struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Kirby Champagne didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for McKague. Gustavo Atwood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Kirby Champagne tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santo Butcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Hurd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fiacre Trépanier hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After 85 played minutes, McKague's Rodrick Voss shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kirby Champagne came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in McKague reached it. The supporters of Hatton FC booed when McKague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward Grove didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vernon Burris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Hurd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Santo Butcher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The McKague supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing McKague would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
